Enlightened Equitation’s
new Fhoenix Vogue saddle is available now!
The Vogue, designed
and created by Heather Moffett, has an almost treeless
design and is the most conventional in appearance of
any treeless saddle on the market. The only rigid part
is the cantle which helps to support the rider’s seat.
The Vogue has a number
of features to help the horse and rider; these include
stirrup bars that are set further back to create a more
natural leg position, and a carefully designed seat
which is compression cut from viscose elastic memory
foam and moulds to the rider’s seat. This feature helps
the rider to sit centrally in the lowest part of the
saddle.
We all know that a badly
fitting saddle can hinder a horse’s way of going but,
if the rider is continuously having to fight with a
saddle that puts them in the wrong position the problems
are compounded. Sitting too far back depresses an area
of the horse’s back and this makes the horse hollow
and raise his head and makes it harder for him to balance
and work correctly. The design of the Fhoenix saddle
range helps to eliminate this by supporting the correct
position in a way that helps both rider and horse, the
saddle flexes with the movement of the horse’s back
and also with no points of the tree, permits complete
freedom of the shoulders.
The Vogue is the most
supportive of all the saddles that Heather Moffett has
designed and features a deeper seat and minimum twist.
It allows the rider to sit in the correct position with
ease and is made in England, using super soft Italian
leather, so there’s no compromise on quality. The Vogue
is available in black or Havana brown leather with or
without suede seat and knee rolls and also has optional
decorative stitching for those who prefer a little more
style.
The Vogue retails at
£1145 + P&P.
