Country Veteran Care™ Mix
Following
an extensive period of research British
Horse Feeds has launched Veteran Care™
Mix, within their popular Natural Country
Range.
Using their understanding
of biochemistry and physiology in the
older horse, coupled with an in depth
knowledge of nutrient profiles, British
Horse Feeds has produced a functional
feed that will off-set, as far as possible,
age related changes (including changes
that are mechanical, digestive, physiological
and immunological).
Formulated specifically
for the mature digestive system, the New
Veteran Care™ Mix has a fibre profile
ideal for the older horse. The high specification
of carefully selected, natural ingredients
includes Speedi-Beet (that also works
as a probiotic), plant extracts (to combat
the negative effects in hindgut fermentation),
100% of key minerals in a natural form
and enhanced vitamin and antioxidant levels
to maintain optimum uptake, maintain the
integrity of the gut wall and nutritionally
assist natural defences.
Inclusion of whole milk
also provides ideal protein, highly available
lactose and essential oils. Protein levels
are formulated to provide optimum levels
of essential amino acids, in particular
lysine and methionine, to match the changing
physiology of the ageing horse. |
