BLISS NOW BLESSED WITH ZEST
One of Britain’s leading biodegradable
horse bedding specialists, Bliss Bedding has introduced
a new type of bedding for 2007.
After a successful trial last summer,
Bliss Citronella, which was launched at BETA International,
is finely chopped, dust extracted rape straw treated
with essential lemon oils to give a fresh stable atmosphere
during the long hot summer months. Bliss Citronella
follows the hugely successful launch of Bliss Eucalyptus,
its winter counterpart, two years ago.
One of the first horse owners to try
Bliss Citronella was Lee Pearson, OBE, Paralympic Dressage
Champion, who is using Bliss for Blue Circle Boy as
well as his new stallion Rafarge. He said, “It really
is superb bedding and it gives a lovely zesty stable
atmosphere.
It rots down really quickly on the
muckheap and since we’ve been using Bliss, we are using
less bedding overall as it is so easy to handle.”
Bliss is a natural product, made from
sustainable resources and is highly biodegradable. It
rots down on muck heaps in months rather than years,
reducing a muckheap’s impact on the environment. Because
Bliss balls and goes hard when it’s wet, it handles
more easily than straw or shavings, so less of it gets
wasted.
